Welcome to my Blog. I’m trying to find time constantly to put my thoughts and experiences on here and sometimes succeed.
As an enthusiastic, entrepreneurial and creative digital marketing strategist, I’ve gained broad experience in, what’s now called, Consumer Experience (Cx) technology. Most recently, I worked at Adobe and Oracle, helping global FMCG companies with their direct-to-consumer architecture and strategies .
I’ve built and sold several start-ups in marketing technology and technology marketing. Over the years, I’ve helped many global companies such as Unilever, adidas, Microsoft, Heineken, Nike, FrieslandCampina, Yamaha, Shell, KPN a.o. buy and implement consumer technology solutions in B2B as well as B2C settings.
I like to apply creativity to a problem that matters, at a scale that has impact. As a proud father of two girls, leaving the planet a tiny bit better than when I arrived, is one of my key personal goals and drivers. Right now, I’m most interested in projects where global CPG/FMCG companies get skilled and tooled to understand consumers individually and intimately. When they do, they will find new ways to predict and deliver on brand promises of radical supply chain transformations, that change the way we use our scarce resources on this planet.
I live close to the beach in a town called Katwijk and have worked across most of Europe and North America. Next to all of the above, I actively seek out technology innovation from the US, Israel and, of course The Netherlands, to bring to bear on problems at scale.
