As the only non-Microsoft speaker of the conference, I was asked to support the EMEA Partner Conference held in the Dublin Conference Center March 2nd & 3rd.
With an event themed “success made simple” I simply couldn’t resist the invitation to talk on the topic of Virtualization Licensing. More specifically: how partners can make this entirely difficult matter into a consulting and training opportunity for their customers. With partners from as far as Croatia and Israel and as different as Germany and Luxemburg; the challenge was to offer the insight we gained from touring the EMEA countries ourselves, in a way that benefited the partners from a business perspective. Microsoft’s transactional partners are being incentivized to offer more value added services around license sales and the area of virtualization would definitely benefit from such offers.
Both the live feedback as the written evals showed great results and we’re confident that most partners left with some good business ideas!
